Purchasing

• Purchase order MUST be in place prior to placing an order
• Purchasing Thresholds.

           -Best available price- less than $20,000 (less than $10,000 for federally funded purchases).

           -Quotes- $20,000-$59,999 ($10,000 and $59,999 for federally funded purchases) 3 quotes required.

           -RFP/RFB- over $60,000 state statute requires a Request For Proposal (RFP) or Request For Bid (RFB)

           -Cooperative/Agreement purchases- procurement requirement has been followed.                                                  Cooperative/Agreement information will be required prior to purchase.

• Reach out to your school Principal/Director or Secretary to start the purchasing process.
• Justification is required for all purchases.
