24-25 Online Registration Verification Required for ALL existing DPS students, Opens May 1st

As we gear up for another exciting academic year, we want to let you know that beginning in the 24-25 school year, Deming Public Schools will require ALL students to verify and update student registration every school year. Registration for existing students will open on May 1, 2024.

It's imperative that every parent completes this process for their child/ren. Online registration is not just a formality; it's the foundation upon which we build our educational support system for your child.

Here's why completing online registration is crucial:
1. Ensures Accuracy: Updating your child's information guarantees that we have the most accurate and up-to-date records. This includes emergency contacts, medical information, media release, technology usage and transportation forms, etc.
2. Communication Channels: By registering online, you ensure that you receive all important communications from the school promptly. From event notifications to emergency alerts, staying connected is crucial for your child's safety and success.
3. Planning and Resources: Your registration helps us plan effectively for the upcoming academic year. It allows us to allocate resources, assign teachers, and prepare the curriculum tailored to your child's needs.
4. Efficiency and Convenience: Completing registration online saves time and effort for both you and the school administration. It streamlines the process, eliminating paperwork and reducing the likelihood of errors.

To complete your child's online registration, simply login to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal website on your computer or phone browser or download the Campus Parent app on your phone. One account will allow you to register all your children at once, even if they attend different schools.

If you need assistance with creating a Campus Parent portal account, we will have a helpdesk (575-543-1000) and in-person support at 501 W. Florida starting Monday, May 6th through May 10th, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. You may also reach out to your child’s school for support.

Once logged into your Campus Parent portal on the black index go to More > Online Registration > Existing Student Registration > 24-25. Follow the instructions carefully, and don't hesitate to reach out to your child’s school if you encounter any difficulties or have questions.
